PHOBOS (Originally By Toni Ylisirnio) Toni Ylisirnio’s original Mars 2060 V1.2 add-on is a brilliant add-on for Orbiter; in fact it became part of my standard Orbiter SOL system. The real heartbreaker was that the bases on Phobos and Deimos didn’t coincide with the stock Phobos and Deimos surface meshes (Underground or in the `air`.) This add-on is just relocation and some embellishment of Toni’s original bases so that they coincide with the ground level and the surface mesh of the two moons. Also these bases are in a format that is standard to Orbiter 060929-P1 format, so it will appear as a standard base in any Orbiter scenario. You can place them in the Config/ mars2060 folder if you want to use them with Toni’s scenarios. Phobos Landing now has two landing platforms / bases, a total of five pads that makes Phobos much more of a gateway to Mars. Just need a Mars-Phobos shuttle now. Stickney Hab-Ring is now located in Stickney crater and also has a landing platform. Due to the local ground level the platform is above ground level, so you can’t land on it, but it isn’t floating in space either, it just looks the part. A small `personal` base as a way of a thank you to the person who did all the original work Toni Ylisirnio, called `Toni’s Place` The base on Deimos has also been relocated and slightly expanded. This add-on requires Toni Ylisirnio’s Mars 2060 V1.2 add-on found at: http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=168 Not strictly necessary for this add-on, more for the Mars 2060 V1.2 add-on is the Mars 2060 Surface tiles add-on found at: http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2107 Installation instructions and Config file inserts are included in the Moons of Mars Base Installation file with this add-on. Thanks again to Toni Ylisirnio’s and his Mars 2060 V1.2 add-ons, José Pablo Luna Sánchez for his indispensable Surface Base Wizard, which made the whole thing possible.
