Hot do I record Video? I know Ctrl+C shows that the game is recording but then what? How do I access the video the post it to YouTube or the web in general, where is the file saved?

With Ctrl+C you don't record a video, but a flight playback script. To record a video you need a video capture program.

Couldn't it be handy to have a sticky with all the major (free/non-free) video capturing softwares?

(I also use Fraps)

I highly recommend Open Broadaster Software. It is like X-Split, but free. I used to use fraps before I discovered this and I have yet to look back. I use it for all my videos now without any issues. It does take a little bit of setup before you can start recording, but it's really easy. Can also use it for streaming on stuff like ustream or twitch. It's fantastic.

Hi all:hello:
My problem is a little different. I record a flight session but when I go back to replay the recording, no dice. It is treating it like a quicksave instead of playing my recording. Any Idea why that may be? Thanks in advance.

A follow up. This is what I am trying to do. I am recreating the STS-120 mission to deliver Harmony... which comes with ISSv3.2. I want to break the mission up into 4 different recordings.
1- Launch
2- Orbit synchronization and docking
3- SSRMS installing Harmony
4- De-Orbit and landing.

(1) So I began by recording the launch. I named the recording STS-120 Launch rec. The "Record" text displayed at the bottom of the screen throughout the entire recording. After MECO and tank separation I stopped recording and did a quicksave. I went back and replayed the launch recording and the playback worked fine.

(2) I then loaded the quicksave to make my recording of part 2...started the recording and named it STS-120 Orbit Sync and rendezvous rec. The "Record" text displayed at the bottom of the screen throughout the entire recording. After docking I stopped recording and did another quicksave. However, when I went back to replay this recording it did not play back. It just acted as if I had loaded the quicksave scenario file.

Do I have to record the entire flight in one session or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks again.
