Finally decided on my two favorite spacecraft for experimenting with 1-G trips, the Ares Lander and Perseus Mark-2 .
Both thrust in the proper direction for a 1-G spaceship with proper views & navigation. AGMFD and Interplanetary work fine with both. Ares is more like I imagine a small ship for explorers, prospectors, maintenance crews. Perseus is what I imagine a cruise ship for space tourists with plenty of room for activities to pass the time.
Pegasus Ares 1 is at [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2717"]Pegasus Ares 01[/ame]
Perseus is at [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3629"]Perseus Deep Space Ship[/ame]
Interplanetary MFD is at http://koti.mbnet.fi/jarmonik/Orbiter.html
The "Hover Craft" and "Platform" are interesting concepts. Mining and transporting raw materials? Water? Shopping malls?
Reminder: I want to learn the Rendezvous MFD at http://solo.dc3.com/orbiter/
