Update Revision 3 to STS-125 Expansion Packs released

Thanks and a tip of the hat to Vash; the updated (Rev.3) STS-125 Expansion packs are now released at Orbit Hangar.

Included in this package are various payloads for STS-125 from Don Gallahger ("Donamy") as well as Don's modifications to the previously released HST by Marq777. Included in this package are a FD1 launch scenario, a FD1 post OMS2 scenario and a FD1 post NC1 burn scenario. One FD2 scenario is included and two FD3 scenarios during rendezvous and grapple and berthing of the HST. This package includes various EVA scenarios and now has FD9 scenarios for release of the HST and following the orbit adjust burn that reduces the perigee of the shuttle, and a preliminary FD12 deorbit and landing scenario for use with AutoFCS. The updated HST included includes attitude control for the Hubble. Scenarios are contained in the Shuttle Fleet V4.1.8 folder under the STS-125 folder. Scenarios are based upon a launch on 5/11/09 at 18:01:49 UTC (actual launch was 7 seconds later).

Hi David,

You mention that there are scenarios for post OMS-2 and post NC-1 but I don't see them in the zip file. Am-I missing something? If possible, could you add post NC-2...please

Sorry about that...they were on my computer but I failed to add them to the package. Next update will include them, and if I can find a good state vector I'll try to add NC2 also.

I expect to release the next package in a day or two (once I can nail down the landing scenarios better).

Revision 4 with FD13 and FD14 landing scenarios released

I have updated the packages now with FD13 (5/23) and FD14 (5/24) scenarios. I have restored the FD1 missing scenarios, however I could not find a good state vector following NC2. It appears that NC2 was an extremely minor RCS burn. Finally, I have included a corrected FD15 landing scenario for STS-124 with the OBSS problem corrected.

This will be the last update to STS-125; I will be working on STS-127 scenarios and will update the overall STS Expansion Pack with the STS-125 scenarios and release before STS-127.

"Move the SRMS to stored sequence "2" to move the HST into its release attitude."

You read the manual that came with the shuttle fleet (page 13, "moving the arm using auto sequences).
