It is confusing.
But the only way to match the model it for the pilot section seen in the show to be in the main vessel.
So we can assume that the detachable forward pod is never seen on the show!

I also have a schematic that shows this configuration. See it here:

(under BLUEPRINTS (Kennedy Shipyards/ KSY Graphics), third image from the top on the right) :)

your right. I think somewhere in another forum they guess that the crew climbed thru the consule to the front pod. The way you have it will you be able to see past the front

Here's the general layout of what I have. As you can see, it deviates a little from what was shown on the series. For example, the back room was longer on the episode. Also, the computer panels don't have the exact same arrangement. Nevertheless I think it looks great :)

As it is obvious, the computer panels are by Roberto Baldassari (give credit where due :) )
The final image shows the intended VC default position. It will be different to fly a spacecraft from there!

Done :)
Now it's only a matter of exporting and converting to Orbiter mesh. It is diferent from the series, notably the seat arrangement. But the view angle is better like this.

Not that beatifull but faithfull to the series look and feel.
Will be better once I tweak the CRTs colors to blue instead of orange

And here is the pod VC.... Ok, it's the Eagle VC with MFDs and a different window layout. As you can see, it's possible to look down... This doesn't match the Swift (2 windows on cockpit) but it does match the Eagle (4 windows)....

Do you have a site somewhere where all the currently completed S1999 stuff is listed? I liked playing with the standalone buildings and would like to find them again.

Do you want a list of vessels, planets and stations seen on the series?
I made a small one at Orbiter Wiki http://www.orbiterwiki.org/wiki/Space:_1999 . It's only a matter of adding the addon names to those that we have working on Orbiter.

Now, the docs for Moonbase Alpha have a list of included spacecraft and locations...

I mean the actual downloads, are they all compiled somewhere or still strung throughout the thread?

Okay, I see what I did, I was searching by gat's addons, not bringing up the main S1999 section.
