Hi everybody. First thing first: english is not my first language so I'm sorry I don't express myself right. I'm kind of a newbie. I've discovered Orbiter just a couple of months ago (I don't know how I didn't find it sooner) and, just a week ago I docked a DGIV with the space station (without autopilot :))

I'm planning to build my own space station and my questions are:

i) Let's say I have a Fuel Cargo in DGIV. Is there any way to transfer the fuel of the cargo to the station?

ii) If the answer to i) is "NO" what's the purpose of the cargo packs?

iii) How do I do to attach a module to an existing station/module? (with DGIV or any other spacecraft)

Thank you for any help.

i) Let's say I have a Fuel Cargo in DGIV. Is there any way to transfer the fuel of the cargo to the station?

You can use the Fuel System MFD that n0mad23 mentioned, or if you write a custom DLL for at least one module of the station, you can write your own fuel management system into it.
ii) If the answer to i) is "NO" what's the purpose of the cargo packs?

Most cargo packs are merely painted boxes with weight. They're nice to look at and something to carry from point A to point B.

Some cargo packs have custom DLL's and actually function. The experimental platform is one example.

The fuel pack has a docking port on it. If you dock the DG-IV to it, you can use the fuel management system of the DG-IV to refuel the DG-IV.
iii) How do I do to attach a module to an existing station/module? (with DGIV or any other spacecraft)

There are two ways to do this. One way uses the docking port facility. If you get two docking ports close enough together and lined up properly they will automatically connect.

The other way is to use an attachment manager to connect attachment points. Attachment points do not automatically connect when they get close to each other. If you write a custom DLL for at least one module of the station, you can write your own attachment management system into it.
