That is quite possibly the worst recording I've ever seen.

The "clipping" warning light is permanently lit. Turn the volume to 1/2 and try again. Digital overdrive is one of the worst effects ever.


A picture is worth 1,000 words, but I'll throw a few in anyway.
44.1 kHz Stereo is wasted on a recording like this.

Here is the original countdown for comparison.

This is the loudest you should ever try to record digitally. Anything more, and you'll get a horrible distortion.

Notice the format: 11,025 kHz Mono. It might look like a small detail but it makes a huge difference. The original file is 273 kB while the STS-135 file is 16 MB!!!

I totally agree with you! But is it possible that you provide your "original" (273 kB) file to him (C3PO), so that he can "update" this to OH?
It's bad, that this happened, but it would be worse if it stays that way.

The original in that picture is the one that comes with Orbitersound, not the STS-135 launch video. sorry for the confusion.
