After 5 very busy days at Europa Station, EHE #3 is now back at 100% functionality. To keep our schedule, it was decided to replace all 3 components that may have caused the problem and retest the engine. All tests passed during the test burn, which was used to adjust the orbit of Europa Station to align it better with the L2 point between Europa and Jupiter. The replaced parts will be returned to the Lunar Station for evalulation by ETV in a few weeks.

We departed Europa station 2 hours ago using EHE #3 and 3 others for the burn. Our current plan calls for a 18 hour coast period before we make a burn to lower our orbit closer to Jupiter and then 7 hours after that our TSI burn. Due to Saturn being 165 degrees around the Sun from Jupiter, we will be crossing most of the inner solar system as we make our 100 day transit from Jupiter to Saturn, very much like Pioneer 11 did in 1979-81 when it was redirected from Jupiter to Saturn during its extended mission. Our transfer orbit will actually go much deeper into the inner solar system, just inside of Earth's orbit.
