Transfering Orbits

hello, Im planning on solar system voyage from earth with the descartes addon. The problem is i cant understand how to transfer orbits even with transx or IMFD (sorry im only 14). I already started the learning curve of orbiter with a bunch of earth orbit flights since I downloaded orbiter a couple a months ago. The earth orbits flight helped but can some help me understand or recommend a transx sort of autopilot (that would help A LOT!:lol

thanks for the tutorials, btw does any one know anything about redshift? i heard its full of bugs
