this add-on is simply a ummu in UCGO cargo. this can bring some advantages, for exemple:
- increase the amount of passagers can you carry *on their spacecraft.
- no need to worry about the oxygen consuption.
- hits do not kill their crew!

detail:
is not possible to place the ummu again in the box.

This add on sounds funny.

Cramped in a box in the back of a DGIV. Can you even deorbit the box and land without dying.

That would be cool:)

I don't think cramping a human into a 1.3m cube is very humane... :P

This brings to mind the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_Rescue_Enclosure"]Personal Rescue Enclosure[/ame]. The thing was tiny, very uncomfortable and leaked like a sieve. A UCGO cargo has something like 6 times the volume of a PRE, but I wouldn't call it top-notch accomodation.

DanSteph's ISRU on the other hand, is practically luxurious in comparison to the PRE...

Thanks been having fun with invincible box astronauts  any plans to make it unpackable from the box itself without another UMMU?

After the things from me and slice n splice it was just a ask for time, that someone packss a human.

In comparison, even the Mercury capsule had an habitable volume of 1.7m3. And I've read in D. Slayton & A. Shepard book that they were thinking to it more like an armor than a capsule, they were saying it was worn, not entered !

Am I the only one who thought of this after reading the description?

hmm, if you could make THAT ^, it would be totally awesome.

Now...I could probably make it sorta unpack itself, but does the MMU survive the reentry? Does it even work with 2010-P1?

#1: Uh, sir? We don't have enough seats to accommodate the VIP.
#2: Eh, stuffit! Just stick him in that empty box in the cargo bay. He'll be fine!
#1: Do you actually think he'll agree to this?
#2: Hell if I know!
