? ...remember that one from some time ago. Still made me smile.
It proves again: Good story is much more important than highest tech (we tend to expect at least 4k resolution and 320 kbit/s stereo sound nowadays)

Disclaimer: This is an ad!
It is, however, one of that rare kind of ad that are actually worth watching for their entertainment value, at least if you're a software developer. I do not buy that the guys publishing the add actually have a solution to the problem, but they depict the problem pretty well, and hilariously.
Also, I am in no way connected to the company publishing the ad, just in case you were wondering. You can stop watching somewhere about 0:50.

Anyways, here goes:

A fragment of 'For All Mankind', which I think is the series equivalent of the Nedelin disaster, I wonder if this is doable in NASSP....

Not sure the SIVb has the control authority to not just spin...

I wonder which university this early 20th C inventor studied 'Mad Science' at...

Pretty sure you couldn't unhook a tether under stress just like that... :p
First time I heard of this show actually, looks like it might be worth a watch.

It's not bad, but it spends too much time dealing with politics and identity issues.
Many scenes are wasted on that, with little relation to the actual story progression.

But the actors and the visuals / tech are good enough to make it worthwhile. I recommend it.

Those quotes largely contributed to push me into philosophy. Food for thought.

"Einstein would turn over in his grave. Not only does God play dice, but the dices are loaded." Chairman Sheng-Ji Yang

"And so we return again to the holy void. Some say this is simply our destiny, but I would have you remember always that the void EXISTS, just as surely as you or I. Is nothingless any less a miracle than substance ?" Sister Miriam Godwinson

A Soviet recreation of the last battle of the 'Age of Sail', Sinope 1853...

Some 'Heavy Metal' on the move...

And some 'Heavy Metal' on the Moon...
