In Denmark (Scandinavia) a weather-balloon was sent up yesterday.
It reached an altitude of 31 kilometer, 19 miles, or just over 100,000 feet
It carried, among other things, a camera.
The footage has not been fully edited and released to the public yet, they said on tv today. But some excerpts was shown.

Here's the official youtube video of the launch of the balloon, filmed from what I think is a remote-controlled helicopter/hover-device of some kind. Very neat video actually, and giving a good overlook :
Here's the first footage excerpts released of the flight itself. It's not the final video, as I understand it, so I guess in a few days there will be a youtube video, or something similar, of parts of the flight. I don't know if non-danish viewers can see this video, if it is restricted to only show locally in Denmark, but here's the link if you want to try. It's from the news-cast's weather-bulletin this afternoon (november 17th, 2011):
