Hi

I have just downloaded the Orbiter 060929 version and unzipped it as per the instructions.

I then launched orbiter.exe which then came up with the Orbiter Launchpad.

Then whenever I choose to launch a scenario I get the following error message:

"
moz-screenshot.jpg
orbiter.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

The dialog box then asks me if I want to send a report to Microsoft - which I don't do.

My PC is running XP Professional Service Pack3

I have searched the forums and can't seem to find anyone with the same problem.

Can anyone help?

What scenario are you using?
Have you installed the required DLL's (can't remember the name)
Also can you post the orbiter log (not cfg) it is in the same directory as the exe file :)

The DLLs that work for me are;

msvcp71.dll
msvcr71.dll
msvcrtd.dll
