Excuse me but the Mattany government likes to call it "voluntary contribution".
If you don't contribute you lose all your benefits from being a citizen of Mattany and since only 12% work in the private sector and you wouldn't have access to healthcare everyone likes to contribute.:thumbup::uhh:

The tax rate is actually on the rise, ever since we started funding healthcare.
No longer is a majority of the budget spent on 'administration'. :lol:

I really wish I would get an issue about crime already. It's been pretty high since the start.

In my experience the best way to fight crime is not introducing a police state with 99% spending on Law&Order but have a good education system.

Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Molsonia's national animal is the Wildcat, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Bottle Cap.

If you think about it my nation has 2.769 billion people. If we assume a usual death rate of 8 deaths/1000 population there are roughly 60,000 deaths every day. And if 3% of my deaths are due to "lost in wilderness" it means that 1,800 Mattanists are lost in wilderness every day. And 600 kill themselves while in police custody...

Who spots mathematical mistakes is allowed to keep them.
