Which scenario does not work for example?
All of them. CTDs during loading.

DaveS, should I use the OMSpods you have or make new ones ?
Well, if you need to alter them to make them fit, then go ahead with the mods.
 
Just about complete. Just need to know the order of the parts for animations.
Don't worry about that. There's a utility called MeshC that generates the header file we use for the orbiter animations of the various meshgroups.

The ROMS pod is a straight up mirror of the LOMS pod.

No need. Just name them whatever they're called on the real orbiter. Just don't use any spaces or hyphens.
 
Can't confirm. All of them working here. I need better information.
This is the SSU part of the log. Any scenario CTDs when it is loading the actual main SSU module (SpaceShuttleUltra.dll) prior to loading the actual meshes/textures. Both the ilnline graphics client (orbiter.exe) and the external graphics client (orbiter_ng.exe) exhibit this behavior.

Did you update the whole orbiter folder or just the module sources?

Recompiled everything and have CTD as well before loading is complete. Same log as DaveS, but I did a debug run and it crashes somewhere in orbiter.exe with access violation and this is the call stack.

Did a small update again, this time moved the MDM configuration loading from Constructor to SetClassCaps

Now I also had a crash at this point, investigating
 
New crash type now
Unhandled exception at 0x77cbfbea in orbiter.exe: 0x80000002: Datatype misalignment.
and the log ends with the same line as before, and the call stack still goes on forever.
 
Still doesn't work. The last line in Orbiter.log is

Since I can reproduce the issue, I'll try debugging the code and see what's happening.

I think I found the problem. Because you're using sscanf_s (instead of sscanf), the length of the buffer has to be passed to the sscanf_s. The buffer length was missing, and the code tried to read the next parameter as the buffer length.

I've checked in the fix.

Checked my changes in, seems to work now, but I have some "10 times it works, 10 times it fails" pattern here.
 
No CTDs on my end now. All is good again.
 
Does somebody I know if my memory is painfully wrong or we really can't shift the camera position anymore to view Panel R4, because the keyboard combination is intercepted by Windows 7 or newer?

I don't think we have had a good camera position to view either L4 or R4.
