Nice to know your still "on the case", would be great to have a viable setup.
I'm not sure there's any consistancy on airlocks in the promo demos, will have to improvise.
I was thinking that this hab is maybe better suited for the moon and the LER? or both?
 
Yes. there different things. With the SEV/MMSEV the only doors are the round airlock. With the LER it had rectangular doors to connect to a base.

Looks super any words on a suit with larger red stripes
I've checked the suit, it has both blue and red stripes as linings rather than as insignia, it also has a flag, NASA logo and mission patch (can easily be exchanged).
It has red lining on the shorts bottom and t-shirt sleeves seperating the layers, I could extend this onto the sleeve? Do you have any pictures where the bands should be?
 
I've been experimenting with lights (for UACS etc..) having to make comprimises, 2 RCs remain.
1 light emitter, 5 light sources, first pic. Best economically, but impractical and doesn't look too good (but could in theory have 8 of them together (will that limit be extended in O2024?)).
3 light emitters, 3 light sources. Best visuals, but my sys. already starts getting funny with 6/7 light sources! (both ~30m dia illum.)

You might look at gattis's EVA guys to get an I deal of what they should look like. One guy with solid red stripes, one guy with whats is called candy cane stripes ,one with broken strips and one with out any stripes

I did see when doing a driving EVA near the south pole and you lose line of sight a nav beacon would help thanks a bunch

Yes, but if each light is going to have it's own emitter than they may as well be single, say 8 in a box, ideally with a little .dll for colour (white/red/blue/green) and off/half/full.

I notice they are quite different suits, also the bands are in a different location. I'll see what I can do (the tex are very detailed and no seperate layers to work with, if I can make one without the rest is easy)
 
You might need to think about making these guy with a clean suit as well for LEO missions
Is already included, I was still on stripes, you mean without dirt? Unfortuneately I don't think that's sensibly doable (no seperate layers, would have to repaint the whole tex.!), aren't they only for ground operations anyway?

those suits look super cant wait to use them do they load up on gattis's rovers ? Yes they will be used for Artemis ops but also on the ISS for EVA''s
Might need to add a mission patch

When do we get to use these guys
Additional suits/suit liveries will be released as seperate addons to the UACS core. There have been some minor fixes/pending changes so ideally after the official UACS release/next update.
Are you currently using the last UACS release? And have you had any issues?
 
the only thing I have seen is when you are in an EVA and turn on the head lights the man freezes

you might move the controls as well maybe use 4 & 6 for side to side and 1 & 3 to rotate as with the other EVA guys do

Thanks for the feedback! Under what conditions does this occur (suit etc.)? You then have no more control over the EVA? I haven't been able to reproduce any problems with the lights or movement so far.
If you notice anything else and also UACS core requests please post directly in the UACS thread, feedback is vital for the project.:)
But as suits will be done as additional addons, development etc. will continue here.
Plan is the 7 new guys with Artemis badges.

On Orbital EVA there is this: EMU MUU
but I think this only shuttle tech and not sure how to implement it? And still needs a lot of work.
