That can be tricky if the mesh is not symetrical. Manually move with "snap to increment" till it lines up?1 I think the mesh is not centered. Is there a way to do that
Looks like greebles are in order.Steamrunner
This is the mainhull texture. I want a more texture like the image
Looking good, although the mesh is currently facing the wrong direction, as shown below:Ok. Try this mesh. I made a texture with different colors.

You need to make the blend files for the Steamrunner available so that Buck Rogers (and the others) can help you out with it.Steamrunner

Where is the link to this release package, please? Also, which version of Orbiter is the starfleet trainer intended to use? The vessel does not show up in my version of Orbiter 2024.The tutorial is in the "Resources" folder in the release package.
The mesh posted above has flipped normals all over the place, and 2 of the warp gondals are inverted (this comes from mirroring). Make sure all normals are pointing the right way. Also recommend "applying all transforms" before exporting.
Try splitting the bottom parts up, looks like a smoothing issue, or just bad mesh?

My version of Orbiter 2016 chokes on this addon. Orbiter.log says that StarTrek_Sol.cfg (I missed it as log reset for something else). Does anyone have this file or similar for the StarFleet Academy Trainer? Re ran it. The file I seek is .\Config\Sol_Trel.cfg.@Luke Reichelt is using Spacecraft3/4 which works in 2016 does not work in 2024.
For 2024 here is a cfg. Just rename it from .txt to .cfg
The Sol_Trek config file can be found here: https://www.orbiter-forum.com/threads/mesh-making-with-blender.41869/page-16#post-638055My version of Orbiter 2016 chokes on this addon. The Prometheus is working fine, although I haven't had much time to test the Steamrunner.
Would you be willing to help out gattispilot with the Olympic? That can be tricky if the mesh is not symetrical. Manually move with "snap to increment" till it lines up?
Actually, I seem to be having a few problems with the Steamrunner at the moment - namely, it keeps causing Orbiter to crash. Clearly something is wrong with the mesh, but I don't know what it is exactly.Ok. I export from blender as 3ds. BBUUTT there is a major section left out. A LLLOOOTTT of editing. rather than cut all the windows on that section I can just place them on the outside
