  • Happy Birthday PhantomCruiser!! Thanks for being a part of the community for so long now; hope you have a great day! :)
Glad to hear it man. Gotta buddy who's mom lost a garage to tree about 20 miles south of you. But it really could have been much, much worse.
Yep, shotguns have a particularly strong affect on idiot's bowels when they try to do something stupid. That's part of the reason I keep a rifle on top of the bench seat in my old K-10 when I travel, which is all the time...tends to keep people honest. I should really fix that old squirrel killer, it hasn't fired in years!
Still, kind of sad about the lost venison though. Its a while til next deer season.
My end of town was (for the most part) untouched. Went without power for 2 1/2 days. So I'm really only out a few pounds of beef and venison, 1/2 gallon of milk and a key lime pie went all mushy. No tree down in my neighborhood, but some down along the highway leading to it.
My mother and a friend of my wife both have cosmetic damage to their houses, and still no power. But they've got lots of help in the area. It's really nice to see people come together after something like this.
But there are a few reports of looting, but this is the south, so that familiar click-CLACK! sound of a pump action should keep it to a minimum.
Hey Phantom, how'd you and your's fare with that wicked storm last week? I didn't realize the sucker marched right up the Tenn/NCaro border until this morning watching the Weather Channel, and well, Cleveland being close by and all ...
I am changing the schedule of starting the HASSESA Project missions till when I and everyone else is on summer break.
Awesome. Glad the invisibility bug is fixed. Have to thank Computerex for that. His compiler setup video on YouTube mentioned a setting that could, of all things, make the mesh invisible for users that didn't have the right runtime installed.

I like the idea of EVA airlock near the gravwheel. Dome (bridge I think?) had also come to mind over the last day or so. I like the concept of one in each bay as well. Thanks for the ideas. I'll get those added probably tonight, do some quick tests, & attach it to the thread.

Let me know if you see anything in the shakedown that stands out.

    Regards,
    n122vu
Wanted to let you know I've updated the Cortez/Explorer project. Latest version is in the first post of the thread. Should fix that nasty invisible mesh problem you were seeing. When you have time to test, let me know if this takes care of it. Also looking for ideas on where to locate the UMMU airlock.

    Thanks,
    n122vu
Sure dude! It's all good. I had planned to make a new one when I 'fly' my next mission (hasn't been assisned yet).
I get the same crushing feeling.

Well, either that or a feeling that I'm looking up somewhere dignity shouldn't allow.
    Hello, fellow Marsonaut! :salute:

Answering your question from the OFMM lite thread, I'm not actually IN the district...I live in a suburb in Fairfax county, which is very close to the west. So I go there kind of often. Of course, it's much more recognizable to put Washington, D.C. for the rest of the forum to see, so that's what I did. Anyway, I'm not even there right now...as Mike Meyers said in Wayne's World: "...Delaware!...I'm in...Delaware..."
Also, good to see armed forces guys doing your thing around here. :salute:

Random: I feel like I'm being crushed by an XR5. >.<
