https://3dprintingindustry.com/news...-rocket-turbines-on-prometheus-engine-139344/

GKN Aerospace, a global engineering firm based in Worcestershire, UK has received a contract from Ariane Group, a joint venture of multinational aerospace companies Airbus and Safran, to develop and additively manufacture two full-scale turbines.
The turbines will be integrated into a low-cost reusable rocket engine, named Prometheus, which will use liquid oxygen-methane propellants “to power Europe’s future [space] launchers.”

Engineers from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), an echelon of the U.S. Navy based in California, have used 3D printing to restore an important an AN/TRC-194 antenna.
This antenna uses an azimuth drive, a configuration used to rotate the whole antenna around a vertical axis, to deliver real-time communications throughout naval combat operations.

Best use of 3D printing so far:

https://3dprintingindustry.com/news...3d-printer-capable-of-repairing-roads-141242/

Researchers from University College London (UCL) have created an asphalt 3D printer designed to repair cracks and potholes in roads.
“The material properties of 3D printed asphalt are tunable, and combined with the flexibility and efficiency of the printing platform, this technique offers a compelling new design approach to the maintenance of infrastructure,” the researchers stated in a paper entitled “3D Printing of Asphalt and its effect on Mechanical Properties.”

Could maybe be a bit excessive to 3D print the fills, instead of just injecting it more precise so that less needs to be removed

Researchers from ETH Zurich have collaborated with Zaha Hadid Architects to create a curved shell concrete pavilion using a 3D knitted formwork.
The four meters tall, five-tonne concrete structure, called KnitCandela, integrates over two miles of 3D printed yarn into four strips of between 15 and 26 meters supported by a steel cable-net, demonstrating cost and time effective construction.

Its clever, not sure if its art though?
And why Candela? Last time I looke it was a unit:

Paying homage to the influential Spanish-Mexican architect, Félix Candela,

Fascinating! I like the printed sieve. and the 'sag-compensator". I see he has the tug-boat model, seems to be a must-do in printer land.

SPARK, an architectural studio based in Singapore, Shanghai, and London, is developing a transportable 3D printed toilet module to combat open defecation in India.
The United Nations (UN) initiative, World Toilet day, which took place this Monday, internationally observes and aims to tackle the sanitation crisis. According to the U.N., 4.5 billion people live without “safely managed sanitation” and approximately 892 million people practice open defecation.
