Launch your Air to Air Aim120 Missile from your Aircraft !

New in 0.98
   - Explosion effects added
   - New smoketrail
   - more realistic range (range has been reduced a bit)
   - Speed is dependig on the target speed, and not longer limited to 1100 m/s
   - The MFD has been reworked
      o Heading of the targets is shown now
      o Zoom is displayed
      o some other changes
   - Some bugs has been fixed

    - CTD during loading the missiles has been fixed
    - some other little bugs fixed
    - reorganisation of the sdk folder (relativ links to headders and libs)

    - dll replaced by the right one

    - More Bugs fixed

    - Works in Orbiter 2010
    - New "radarlike" MFD
    - Many Bugs fixed
    - Reorganisation of the source code
    - Launching a missile inside itself is now possible (if the missile is attached to a carrier)

    - CTD, by trying to launch a missile inside itself (focus on the missile), if the missile is not attached to a port

Interesting how gettting into dogfighting shows even more the amazing simulator that Orbiter really is, how reallistic are the needed engaging/ framing maneuvers and how beautifully realistic they feel and look in the sim. However a few points should be indicated as schedule items for the development. *Not only MSVCR70.dll but MSVCP70.dll are needed and not all versions work I finally came to MSVCP70.dll Version 7.00.9064.0 MSVCR70.dll Version 7.00.9064.0 Since there are more recent versions of these libraries why not use them? *For the same reason I can't see why the older version of OrbiterSound ( 3 instead of more recent 3.5) appears in the source. *Why there's "ShuttlePB".exp and lib in Modules? If they are necessary, these files should be renamed to match the addon name ("AAMissile" or else). *An all-Deltaglider (or any default craft)scenario should be provided. The user should not be required to download other addon to test this one. *If the target has loaded missiles , these remain flying after the target has been eliminated. Delete missiles from deleted aircraft.

like slycoopersbutt said, it does what it said. It would be nice that when it hit the target, it deletes the ship and replaces it with debris but that doesnt matter since it is an excellent addon. Bravo!

I have a problem, how i can use this missile whit the apache ver3? (the apache-AH6a) i have added the line in the cfg file of attachament, but he don't go...i press load, but the 2 missiles don't come. I have added this BEGIN_K33\K-AH-64A AIM120_1_POS 1.60 -0.71 1.90 AIM120_2_POS -1.60 -0.71 1.90 END_K33\K-AH-64A Why he don't work?

Nothing happens, if i use Missile-MFD or LShift+L or LShift-S. Only targeting works.

Yes of course, it's possible to make a SAM from this add on, the sourcecode is included and if someone will do that then he can.

Wasn't the German contribution to the MEDS a AMRAAM converted into a truck launched VLS medium range SAM? :lol:

Same issue - I have installed the MSVCR70, and still no go with loading missiles.

It CTDs immediately.

I tested the missile MFD, looks good, but needs a range indicator - range scale display 10/20/40/80/160 like the real one would be nice, otherwise interceptions now are guesswork.

Also needs a "dogfight mode" for close range auto acquisition :3

Uuuoho oh ok,it was a bit late yesterday and so i don't replaced the dll of the module in the release zip pack.
Please try again now with version 0.971 ;-)

And please, can someone who have had a CTD confirm me that it's working correct now?

Downloading now. The log complained in 0.97 about Left.dds, Right.dds and Body.dds. I hope it's been fixed as well.

EDIT: ouch. The size precludes me from d/loading it right away. Could you also reduce the size by excluding debug and non-essential files (*.pdb, *.ncb, *.suo at least)? TIA
