AMSO 1.17 CTD switching from external to internal and QSave

Ok this is getting annoying. AMSO 1.17 is CTDing when switching from external view to internal view and when Qsaving and switching back to internal view. It does it weather Im switching from external to the 3d cockpit or to the glass.

I usually Qsave after completing a burn and 1.17 is dying every time I do this. Ill post my log here but it doesnt have a problem starting any scenarios.

AMSO 1.17 is the only addon I have running in a vanilla Orbit 2006 P1 w/sound 3.5 and then some MFDs -well quite a few MFDs but all of these MFDs I have tested with version 1.16 and no problem like this ever happened.

I run a Win XP Pro SP2 with a 128Mb Nvidia and I have 1.5Gig ram.
I have 1.66 gig of ram avail on system drive and my mem cache is up to about 3 gig maximum starts at 800km

Whats buzz? Any help avail for this bug or did I miss it allready reported on this forum?

Thanks in advance.

Here is my log:

Test a configuration with only OrbiterSound and IMFD instrument modules. Normally, this configuration should work without any problems.

If it is the case, then activate, one by one, the other instruments modules you would like to use and check every times the problem. When it will start to occur, you will probably have found the instrument which is not compatible.

To be sure the problem does not come from a group of instruments modules, return to the basic configuration OrbiterSound and IMFD, plus the suspected instrument module and try again. If it still crash, then this instrument is unfortunately not compatible with AMSO 1.17.

Let us know the result of your investigation.

Code:
Module FlightDataRecMFD.dll [API v.041022]
Module FlightDataRecCFD.dll [API v.041022]

These are already painfully outdated. The recording feature of Orbiter 2006 already replaces both versions completely.

Also: Why the hell do you have so many modules activated? You even activated TrackIR without having any TrackIR hardware available. Ever thought about "less is more?"

Very Helpfull

Very Helpfull
Thanks guys for the speedy responce. The modules you speak of Module FlightDataRecMFD.dll [API v.041022]
Module FlightDataRecCFD.dll [API v.041022]

should both be the correct version. Again, I am installing AMSO 1.17 onto a vanilla version of Orbiter 2006 P1 so if those files were replaced by an MFD then I think it could be part of the Flight Data Recorder MFD I downloaded from Orbit Hangar Mods at this listing:
[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=759"]FlightDataRecMFD[/ame]

Its called [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=759"]FlightDataRecMFD[/ame] by mattweidner
File: FlightDataRec-02042005.zip

I am noticing that its for version 050216 but it has allways worked with the older version of AMSO and its very handy. I guess I will have to disable it and see if it fixes me.
Ill even go as far as re-install all my other MFDs and AMSO on a vanilla Orbiter 2006 P1 accept that one and see if that fixes me. Thanks for the help and Ill report my findings here.

Thanks again.

I think Urwumpe's point was that "correct" version or not, those modules are redundant. Orbiter '06 already does everything they do. In fact, THAT may be where the conflict lies.

Why choke your system trying to run a slew of different modules that are all doing the same thing (even if it works)? It's still gobbling up your resources.
