best free screen recording softwware?

im trying to make orbiter video's but my free 30 day thing of auto screen recorder pro went out and i dont want to spend 50 dollars on something like that, it needs to be FREE NOT A TRIAL, AND NEEDS TO RECORD SOUND, AND DOESN'T ONLY RECORD 5 SECONDS OF VIDEO EACH TIME, thanks

Yes it does. I've used it at work for a few things, mainly making avi's of PowerPoint slideshows. Seems to work well. I believe it's what flytandem used to record his Earth-Moon Transx tutorials.

when in orbiter it plays like, 1 fps.....how do i fix that i looked at the options, nothing wrong
