Look interesting. There's some real zero-g training footage in there!

As for the list of best space movies, I don't see Solaris (Tarkovsky version) mentioned! But it really needs to be on the list.
Highly recommended!

Mostly realistic stuff.
1. Apollo 13 - Most accurate hollywood space movie ever.
2. The Martian - Great story, mostly accurate. (Watch the movie, then read the book!)
3. From the Earth to the Moon (HBO series, 12 parts) - My favorite is part 3 about the development of the LM.
4. Space Camp - Not realistic, but fun.
5. October Sky - Good movie.

Others:
Space Cowboys - Some technical issues; good but not on my top 5 list
Gravity - Good story and amazing zero-g effects, but the orbital mechanics just don’t work.
Spaceflight documentaries - Too many to list.

One of my favorite movies as a kid. Though through my entire childhood my father would annoyingly do the 'In YoUr HaNd' quote every chance he got.

I wanted to see just how hard it would be to damp out the rates on the multi-axis trainer scene, so I set up a rapidly tumbling ship in Orbiter, and let me tell you, it is really hard to do! Took about 5 minutes. It would be even harder if you were actually tumbling around…

Makes you amazed that Neil Armstrong was able to do it on Gemini 8... although that was mostly in roll.

2001, Apollo 13, the old Star Wars movies (not the prequels), Total Recall (the one with Arnold Schwarzenegger), Starship Troopers, Alien (the first one only). Fifth Element, Men in Black, and Independencee Day are great quasi-space movies.
To add on to my old list, Apollo 18, Passengers, Gravity, The Martian, and Ad Astra were all very enjoyable movies to watch.

I actually enjoyed Ad Astra more than The Martian, although part of that may be because I had already read the book for The Martian.
