Flight Question default DG auto heading hold

First off: been playing around for a while with the stock DG in orbiter. The heading hold on the AP works, but tends to see/saw alot trying to 0 in on the course set. sometimes it rolls over and i loose it all together. anyone els get this? maybe i need to change a few settings in the realism ? im running the 2010 version with the patch.

Second: off topic, anyone know where i can get a download of Dan's DGIV? his page is still down and im dieing to get back into the auto pilots <grins> .

all of the downloads require UCGO and if you notice the links most are external linked to Dan's page. guess ill have to wait for him to fix his servers. I dont see UCGO anywhere other than his page anyway.
