Humor End of UK TV production

Oh thank God, I thought the title meant no more UK TV programming. Most of it I don't give a crap about, but I'd be heartbroken at losing Top Gear.

Anyway, Didn't this happen in the U.S. a long time ago? Television production almost exclusively belongs to the Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, etc now.

Still a lot of home-grown prduction here, don't know what gets exported these days. I suspect Dr Who, Top Gear, as you say, The Bill?
BBC does quite a few co-productions, mostly natural history, science and docu-dramas.
I think the genre is what they try to make and sell round the world. Things like X-Factor, Big Brother, I'm a Celebrity...
On a different note, I got a bit of a shock seeing my old employers name ending up in a museum! Suppose I'm lucky I'm not in there...
