About the french song for Eurovision, well... What to say ? It's not that bad, except who does understand the lyrics ? Who'd be able to sing it ? It's not traditional, but it's not true hardstyle, we know what they are not, but what are they at the end ? I realy hope it will go well for them, period.

Yeah, I fear this is how you end being "somewhere in the middle", I'm a bit sceptical. Well, nothing really impressed me right now. The one I do remember is Finland, for me they are the ones that looked like a pop/rock band, but I'm probably very 1990's-biased.

Someone needs to get Modern Talking back together and solve this. Possibly along with blasting it around the planet on shortwave so well that we actually go back to the 80's?

This monster shall remain buried and never be awaken again.

Its time now for the votes.... well, I hope it will at least be exciting for the second place.

Thanks Armenia for those 7 points ! Charles Aznavour power ?

Many connection problems it seems

Well Germany, France and Island sort of share the back of the bus ?

So Ukraine wins, not completely unexpected.

I really liked the UK song, but Ukraine was also nice. It's a good song and they performed well, so it's deserved I think.

There was a political message at the end of the performance. Under normal circumstances that might get them disqualified. Especially if someone complained about it (remember last year with Italy and drug-sniffing ;) ) But I don't see it happening this year.

Well, that was a shock. Didn't watch it of course.

I've read if a winning country is unable to host the next contest, one of the "big five" are nominated.
Here's hoping Ukraine does.

The EBU declared it a humanitarian message. Fixed it. :D

I really hope, Ukraine can host then. Winning the war is just one side of the bill though. Alone making sure that the needed infrastructure is operational then won't be easy.

"During voting and the performances, the police cybersecurity department blocked several cyber attacks on network infrastructure by the "Killnet" hacker group and its affiliate "Legion", police said."

Western medias are not lying. Some things are a bit dramatized here and there (they have to sell paper) but there's no big conspiracy going on.

As an humanist I'm horrified by the magnitude of the losses on both sides. I hope the conflict will resolve soon in a way that doesn't imply a thermonuclear war ?
