Vessel Falcon 9 Air

While lurking around the YT channels of space nerds (Everyday Astronaut, Scott Manley etc.), I found an interesting rocket concept called Falcon 9 Air* (or Falcon Air). Falcon Air was an air-launch-to-orbit (ALTO) rocket proposed by SpaceX in 2011-12. However, the proposal ended in the fourth quarter of 2012 as the "launch vehicle design [had] departed significantly from the Falcon derivative vehicle envisioned by SpaceX and does not fit well with [SpaceX's] long-term strategic business model". Despite this decision, I still like the design and want to have an add-on in Orbiter 2016 dedicated to this.


*Despite its name, the first stage of Falcon Air would have four Merlin engines (five in its animation).
