You know, if it weren't a public poll, you might remove a bit of reluctance by an anonymous female to identify herself, I am sure they exist. No one wants to identify themselves as a 1 in 20 or 30 minority.

I was having a few geeky hobbies - boardgames, computer games, ourdoors roleplaying, was attending local fantasy/sci-fi fan club for a while. And female participants always were rare thing.

And Orbiter is no different - its just a computer game for most of girls. And it does not even look like an interesting game. And it's about heavy machinery. And physics are somehow related, My, thats a strong combination. An excellent female-repellent, It could be worse only if orbiter was about football among other things.

2 to be : May be, just may be keeping poll open could be a reson for FlyGirl not to vote here (should she see this topic). But I think that keeping it open is important - if it was closed, I surely had voted female. You know, just for fun of it ; - ) And that will sure ruin statistics X-)

It takes a rare woman who would want to sit in front of a computer for 17 hours staring at a computer screen and not getting paid to do so, but I know a few Orbiter women who do just that, but I doubt if they bother to post, or hang out in this forum either.
