What export options do you have?

There is a an obj2mesh exporter by John Fotou on www.orbithangar.com
I think John coded this in a day. Not bad for a days work.

Obj2msh v1.0

I have used this and it works on low poly/object counts well.

Edit: I have seen it take it up 30 min's to convert a complex model

I think I can export a obj file
