I'm a long time orbiter user that is just getting back into it.
I've forgotten a lot of the tricks I used to get scenarios to work before.

Anyway,
I'm trying the DGIV-2 KSC Runway 33 to ISS scenario, and I'm using the Hi-Res KSC addon from kukanotas.(Orbiter 2010)

It seems like when I am rolling down the runway, or at certain camera angles, the runway texture and possibly the Scenery Tiles blink or disappear entirely.

Vanilla Scenery seems to work fine.

Has anyone run into this and is there a quick fix?
I have this feeling that I've run into this before.
Thanks!
Kevin

Would you want to try using Anisotropic filtering and change some Z buffer settings on your graphics card? Both may help in such high angle instances.

A little update:

Strangely, I tried the same setup/scenario on my ATI laptop and got the same results.

This lead me to believe that the issue was not caused by graphics card issues.(Though thanks for the suggestion)

When I used the default orbiter END1/END2 against the hi-res base cfg, the problem went away.

It seems to happen the most when I am looking down the runway using a UMMU person. Maybe not a lot of people do this, so it was never noticed.
