I have installed the 2016 version,and when i launch the simulator, A loading scene appears,and it will automatic close without any prompt information after a few seconds,so I do not know what the error is,Is there anyone else met the same problem?

Maybe you'll have better luck with that? Extract into Orbiter's root, then launch Orbiter_ng.exe (not orbiter.exe!) and activate it under the Modules tab under "Graphics engines".

On debugging this issue, it seems that after switching to Chinese format settings, sprintf crashes when the format string contains a degree sign (ASCII 176) or indeed any extended ASCII characters I tried. What is that about? The odd thing is that the symbol shows up correctly in the character table when Chinese format settings are selected even if further down Chinese characters are shown. Anybody come across this problem? Is there a workaround?
What about using setlocale()?
