Hi Orbinauts,  this is the most complex Addon I've every done and is months of work.

I've tried to make this as accurate as possible with out going too far. I still recommend you use with D3D9 Graphics Client or a very fast computer, or both.

I have modelled both launch pads with the major modifications that where made.

LC39A+B for 1981 to 1986

LC39A+B for 1986 to 1995

LC39A+B for 1995 to 2006

LC39A+B from 2006

also is Launch pads without the MLP for the back ground

example scenarios for each era of the pads and Ares I-X launch

for this you'll need to download Ares I-X Ultra http: //www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4290

there is a read me file included for you to cut and paste your own flights

Thanks to Patrice for endless patients and alot of testing and keeping me on my toes every day. also to DaveS for letting me use his MLP as you couldnt beat it, I just added to it.

also to Thorton as the Module from his ISS 3.2 launch pad runs these pads, without it they'd look good, but would not work (control keys in the read me file)

This will over write your ISS 3.2 meshes in the ISSR folder  so back them up if this slows your machine too much. also your Canaveral and KSC config files if your testing this in a new orbiter setup (removes default launch pads).

This is for ShuttleFleet 4.8 but may work with default or SSU I've not tested these.

Thanks to you all and keep the Shuttle Fleet Flying.

updated to correct the scenarios and small Mesh problem,  Alcohol and Addons dont Mix...

Merry Christmas

David

You could also make an updated LC39A for SpaceX's F9/FH pretty easily. If you'd like I can send you some reference pictures on what needs to be removed from the FSS.

that Kyle had already been suggested Id have to build the Hard Back assembly and the assembly building but wouldn't be too difficult

Now I know I don't know anything. Isn't the Shuttle fleet compatible with Orbiter2016 ?
In official "mods compatible with Orbiter2016" thread it doesn't say so.
Or did I heard that anywhere here.
I really hope it is, cause it's great looking mod just I'd feel sorry for not using it all this time. =S

Tonight I've been mostly looking at a version of the Launch pad using the Multistage SLS example, I tried an older version of SSU but it is slightly lower to the ground I tried the latest version of SSU but it just falls over, I was wondering I have an attachment point on the pad if I moved it around I could match it up to the MLP, wonder if the SSU would launch

SSU needs to be attached to the MLP vessel which in turn needs to be attached to the pad vessel. And it's highly dependent on the SSU pad and MLP vessels in order to be able to launch as there's intervessel communications going on in this order(using the class names):

-SSU_LCC
--SSU_Pad
--SSU_MLP
--SpaceShutleUltra

Hi Dave I've been looking at that, first off if you just want to see what it looks like goto Configs/vessels/ISSR and open LC39A and change the Attachment to this.

BEGIN_ATTACHMENT
C 0.35 -39.2 4.90 0 1 0 0 0 -1 XS
END_ATTACHMENT

then copy Launch test in the SSU scenarios
open up the copy
and delete
LCC
MLP2
LC39A
then copy and paste in this

LC39A:ISSR\LC39A
STATUS Landed Earth
POS -80.6041280 28.6086350
HEADING 0.00
AFCMODE 7

if you leave LCC in place you get the timer but it isn't running
the shuttle doesn't Launch but it does look good

As I wrote, there's alot of complex intervessel communications going on with SSU. You can't substitute one element for another. SSU is hardcoded to expect certain commands that are issued only from certain vessels.

I can't launch the Shuttles. As the program starts, the official launch time is over, and when the count down reaches T=0 than the Shuttle crashes. I receive that message:
"Shuttle ERROR UMMU 2.0 not properly initiated in your code."
What do I have to do for repair?
Could anybody help me?
