LEGO Space Shuttle "launch" on a weather balloon

Lego Space Shuttle

The launch took place from central Germany and reached a max altitude of 35000m. A 1600g meteo balloon filled with helium was used alongside a GoPro Hero, Spot GPS and of course Lego Space Shuttle model 3367.

Excellent ! Well selected soundtrack, the last sequence at 35,000 m is breathtaking... My eyes can hardly believe a Lego shuttle actually made it there !! :blink:

Absolute Lego altitude record I guess. I hope they put a Lego pilot in the cockpit, he will deserve a special honor box. :lol:

That one may have been higher. But that had men handling it on the station.

The other one was actually out exposed to the elements. Now lets see them do that with the other at the ISS.
