My first Orbital reundevous

I just took off from KSC with the DG-IV, aligned my plane and orbit altitude manually, and approached in to dock without the dock autopilot (since I can't figure it out)!:dance:

to dock u need a few little mfds: what i prefer is to use transfer to transfer to the orbit of the thing u want to dock with, then dock with it
althoguh it can be a pain with low orbit ships like iss. dock MFD works best when ur near teh ship. then u press hud bz the MFD to get a good look at your speed and distance relative to the thing ur docking with, it also tells u if ur aligned with port...

Congrats on the rendezvous. I remember when I was trying to figure out how to dock, I found this tutorial to be invaluable: http://smithplanet.com/stuff/orbiter/orbitaloperations.htm

Work through that and you should be manually docking in no time.
