I tried it a few years ago. Seeing the posts in the Random Comments Thread, I just started up a new nation today. Not sure if I'll keep it going or not.

Creating a fictitious country (Hatsunia) has given me inspiration for add-on development.

Also notice how this flag coincidentally looks like mine (they're both based off Miku, and it's not a rip-off, but the designs are pretty similar)

There is in fact a O-F - related nation, Orbiteria. You'll have to ask the founder or WA delegate for password however.

Most of these nation building games are too lefty for my taste. I do love Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri though, no matter how lefty it is

I didn't really find it leftist, but I did find it simplistic, overly exaggerated, repetitive, and, after a few weeks, boring.

Though I do miss my flag.

Heh! Heh! Thanks, it immediately reminded me of "Shadow President" from donkeys ago, but without the nuclear threat. I remember a time when this would have been a resounding hit with me, though I am not that bored anymore.

Just the same, I left a country stewing there, to check out every couple of weeks, which is already (not surprisingly) a Psychotic Dictatorship. :lol:
