Hi there!

I need a help with a problem?
Take off and get to orbit is no prolem, but how do i get to ISS?
Many attempt did not sucseed and i know that i'm close to get it right.
The DGIV simply does'nt get to close to automatic dock, and after a while i plunge back to earth.

Does anyone know what goes wrong?

yo, tommy

Manny thanks for your reply.:tiphat:
I will check it out.

I always do these things:
1. Ascent DGIV using autopilot(PRO903SPEC42)
2. Open algin planes MFD
3. Select target -> By name -> ISS
4. When you are approaching AN(Ascening node) start orbit anti-normal(-) autopilot
5. When you see "Enable thrust" then enable it and minimize your "DTa" and "DTn"(I don't remember it) to be close to 0.
6. Open Sync Orbit MFD, press LEN and type "18"
7. press TGT and select ISS as target
8. If you see "Intersect 1" and "No intersection" then enable PROGRADE and burn your engines until you see long list of orbits and "No intersection" disappear.
9. Make two highlighted values to be almost the same, burning PROGRADE in diffrent times
10. Open docking MFD on another MFD, press TGT and select ISS as target
11. Press HUD
12. When two highlighted orbits are on 1st position(at no. 0 exactly) rotate your ship to see green circle with a dot inside.(you have to have docking hud enabled to see it)
13. When your velocity on Docking MFD will decerase(the right yellow one) to ~10-50 m/s then burn your engines until dV under the circle on hud become 0
14. you may now use docking autopilot or dock manually:thumbup:

You know what? I actually figured this out by myself. How I did that, I'll never know. Still got to master the manual docking aspect, but I can do it fine. But I have to say, the auto-docker definitely saves me a load of time. Or wastes it sometimes, depending on the approach. So if your auto-docking autopilot keeps circling around whatever you are trying to dock with, engage the Null-Relative Velocity auto-pilot (Pro500Spec0) and once thats done, then engage the auto-docker (Pro300Spec0).
