More ideas:

1. Trans-Earth EVA tether implementation

2. Sub-satellite removal in Apollo 17's SIM bay

3. Re-entry plasma visible in VC windows during re-entry

4. Camera shaking during Apollo 13 explosion

5. Visible damage and trail effect in Apollo 13's SM

The LES should burn for 14 seconds until it is jettisoned in Mode II. The canard system should be implemented also.

Watch this spectacular high qualiy footage of the Apollo 8 launch by Spacecraft Films. Notice the exhaust, staging sequence, and condensation cloud:

These effects can really make AMSO the best Apollo simulator in Orbiter! (With the clickable VC of course!)

I would like to see an expanded apollo 18,19,20 landing site. Maybe with their SM simbay payloads for their missions. The landing sites for those mission are generic.

I have some attached photographs of those canceled Apollo missions. These pictures are in mission order: Marius Hills with Apollo 18, Copernicus with Apollo 19, and Tycho with Apollo 20. My suggestion to ACS is to implement Apollo 20 into AMSO and its landing site Tycho (see third photo). I believe that they can model the landing sites very well and accurately.

The planned SIM bay components and trans-earth EVAs are very difficult information to find because they were canceled. You may have to ask NASA or request it from the National Archives!

Apollo's 4 & 6 - The unmanned Saturn 5 test missions - All Automatic.

Those missions should mainly emphasize the visuals. There should be no crew in the VC. Also, they must have special cameras in the VC and the Saturn such as the staging cams I mentioned earlier.

How about improving the LazyD tribute? (May he rest in peace.) Adding spotlights would be nice. After the flag planting, the angel should also be there, rising slowly from the lunar surface with the spotlights on.

There should be a hotkey to toggle the angel scene. An alternative would be to have a damage model. For example, disintegration of the CM during re-entry.

It would be great if Mustard and No Matter could create a special 1975 version of the Soyuz-U and Soyuz 7K-TM for AMSO.

What I was talking about:

If ever EVA audio is implemented, it is absolutely necessary to include the "first step" audios.

For a lunar EVA, lunar bootprints would be nice. Driving the LRV through craters would also be but will probably be implemented when AMSO has its own version in Orbiter's next release.

Camera shaking variation in Saturn V, CSM , and LM. Wild shaking during the Saturn V launch phase, mild shaking when the SPS is fired in the CSM, and little or no shaking at all when the descent engine is fired in the LM.

The "wet workshop" part of the mission could be modeled by using a VC. Does anyone know of an image, site, or information on how this "wet workshop" would look like?
