Orbit hanger might be hacked

Works correctly here. No forward linking or anything. I suspect the problem is on your end, possibly mal-ware-related. I suggest you do a scan for malware on your computer and see what it turns up.

Edit:
Just did a scan on the file in question Brighton Beach_pack.rar, and no viruses or anything detected.

A 404 error just means that the page you're trying to access does not exist or does not exist any more. The most probable explanation is that someone deleted the add-on.

The reason for the custom 404 page is that you don't have to wait 30 seconds or so before your browser gives you a "Connection timed out" warning and to make a page - instead of the browser default page. That gives website designers the possibility to include more information..... or just a hilarious or annoying picture :P


Oh and no, it won't give your computer AIDS.
 
It might still be better to have "404, page not found" below the "everybody's dead, Dave," just to make it a bit clearer what the page is doing.
 
I just downloaded some addons on Orbithangar ( sts , Baikonour ) and for the fourth download when I click on the link to the zip, I opened a page detailing the contents of the zip but no download possible. If i come back on STS for another download , the problem is the same. With Firefox or IE.
 
Look, Dave, I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill and think things over.

Have you tried clicking on the link labeled "Download"?

You know, I wrote my reply in a hurry while at work, and rereading it I see I wasn't as helpful as I thought I was being. Sorry about that.

And I agree, even though I recognize the meme, I'd be pretty startled to run into that face unexpectedly too. Maybe Orbit Hanger should make it a little more clear that's it's just a 404 error...
 
Sorry DaveS. I had been a little tired. But is that in the past, the file names themselves was clickable ? I confess that I do not remember.

Nope. Only the download link works for actually downloading the files.
