OHM Orbiter 2010 Mars Face Upgrade

This add-on is a rewriting codes and re-coloring of its earlier version by Orbiter.ch, the mesh file is written code by its original author Peaceman (version 050216).

Required Add-ons: None

Little technical info about the mesh (by Peaceman) and the Textures:
Terrain profile was imported from Nasa MOLA data with a resolution of 1/128 degrees per pixel. The actual area is covered by 32x32 MOLA points (so you dont see details in the height profile).
The Image is taken from NASA Mars Global Surveyor (bw) and has been colorized to match the mars textures in orbiter. It has a resolution of about 20m per pixel (originally about 5m).

Have you tried to contact peaceman for permission, or perhaps to offer him the new dds file?

EDIT: Once upon a time a great Russian singer/actor Vladimir Vyssotsky sang: Выбирайтесь своей колеёй! (Make your own tracks, {don't use tracks that others have laid}). Your ideas of "original" add-ons seem to baffle me.

I inquired in addon development forum - it's fine to upgrade airports, and stuff like that by giving them better textures, etc, but please link to the original addon for the meshes instead, if you wish to use their work. Redistributing is a no no without the author's consent.

It's understood that the legacy addon developers can be impossible to contact but if their works are still on Orbit Hangar, it's a simple matter to put a placeholder mesh and put a big note in the addon description - other addon required.
