Since I'm into B&W right now and I saw a B&W photo on Google Earth of Wideawake taken during the Falklands War back in '82, I thought I'd try some B&W.

This is an ESA XR5 returning to Wideawake after 7 days docked to Longshot in a 10000km orbit.

This is not the Mars you're looking for...

Every once in a while you leave the cockpit and are unexpectedly confronted by a bloody awe-inspiring sight.

@HAL9001 - I like the re-texture on the front shields of the Explorer. Not series-accurate but it looks better than the diagonal stripes I think. Looks good. Did you just re-use the textures from the rest of the hull?

Arriving at Mars after departing Brighton Beach. Fuel remaining is around 80%, the most fuel efficient trip I've made yet!

The Sun looks very nice in this picture. I wonder if I can edit star.dds to try to get that effect in-sim? :hmm:

Mars config:
Code:
AtmColor0 = 0.823 0.658 0.501
AtmHazeColor = 0.823 0.658 0.501

EDIT - The only editing to the screen shot I did was increase the exposure.

While I was in Mars.cfg, I thought I'd be devilish for a moment:

That's not what your colour values did to Mars, of course! :rofl:
