The picture is great...that is really a scene.

(But the water cannon would be better placed towards the front, since you drive the truck usually forwards towards a fire - like it is now, you will always have a big distance to the water monitor)

I hope MTS will work soon (I'm waiting for .dlls).
For now as sc3 vessel it's not able to perform good (stable) reentry.

Anyway tommorow I'll start Shadow Destroyer meshing

I'm afraid I can't do this HAL9001 (sorry, I couldn't resist )

Seriously - even as sc3 craft it's not ready for releasing (eg RCS thrusters are not placed, no attachment points defined etc.)

Also I want this add-on to be released fully operational with all features it should have.

- autopilot routine for launcher (and integrating it with launcher)
- shuttle.dll
- launchpad

I've also been bitten by the Station-Building Bug, I guess
At the other end of the truss there are also some solar panels (it's very ISS-ish, for now), but they interfere with the Vanguard. Will have to add a node, or just rotate the docking port 90°.

Hmm...the structure lacks some many things I think. But it has lightning rods.

Work restarted (finally). Still tweaks to make (on nearly everything), but she's fly-able.



Any suggestions for some "nose art"? What I've got now is a piece of clip-art of Athena (as a nod to the Athena that I'm building for my VSA). This is a representation of what the Athena III would have looked like had the market for small launch vehicles not cancelled it. This should have been able to lift 9100 lbs into LEO.

Once I get the boosters turned around correctly, I'll finish up what ATK had proposed as their COTS launcher. Which is essentially a 2 1/2 segment shuttle SRB, with an Athena I on top (shouldn't take me long).

The external engines/tanks/boosters/stages visible on screenshots rather say its embedded engines are vacuum only.
