Hi @all! Since I'm new to Orbiter 2016, I'm not sure whether I'm making mistakes with addons, or whether they just won't work with Orbiter 2016 at all ... In my old Orbiter 2010 installation, I used some hi-res textures for runways, as they are available from OHM. I tried this with Orbiter 2016...

Visit to @Snax 's space station on my mission SSM-82 with Brunswicker!
Special cargo in the bay: a set of temporary solar array that will serve to power the batteries that keep the station alive until Snax give the station it's own power source.
Brunswicker's arrival at LGS Station Alpha!
Docked! The solar arrays will now recharge the station's batteries!
With the batteries charged, the panels are retracted and Brunswicker is undocked!
Buh-bye!
Reentry!
And arrival at Cape Canaveral.

My flight was just before @LordCroussette.
Soooo, this is LGS-5 flight.
This mission is about bringing a module to an embryo of a Space station that I started 2 years ago in Orbiter 2010.
Shuttle Massilia is on the pad.
And "Lift off of Massilia, building the station and our future in space !"
Rapidly in orbit, waiting for the TIG for OMS-2
Had fun with SSV Mission Builder to place the latches on the longerons. We know see the Shuttle's payload, a module that I called "Schuman", after Robert Schuman, one of the precursors of modern Europe.

And after 4 hours fiddling with SPEC33/SPEC34, we've arrived at the station
Not without difficulties, I managed to attach the module ans the PMA
And now it's time to come back.
It's a successful landing at the KSC by night with this lovely picture of Massilia about to touch.
And for this mission, I did a quick patch, I will do one for every mission I do as of now
Now Massilia will rest, another Shuttle will take it from here and continue the assembly on a next mission !

Seeing these shuttle missions reminds me of the 282 X5 missions I did from Briton Beach to a 100 km circular lunar orbit to build my space station using Orbiter 2010 P1 and IMS 1.0. The main reason it took me so many missions is I brought up each component from the lunar surface and then docked it onto the station using a 10x sized Canada Arm..My turn my turn !!

Well I do hope you don't plan to bring that back to Earth. A fuel cargo tank placed in front of the DG? The reentry will turn it into a bomb! x)

Today I finally launched the Canadian Space Station-2, successor to the original Canadian Space Station! :O I had it planned for quite a while so it is satisfying to see it in orbit!
The first module of the CSS-2 was launched atop an Ariane 6! I streamed the launch live here but I'm posting a few screenshots of it here as well (taken from the stream itself, didn't think to take any during the flight).

The CSS-2 is in orbit!
With the CSS-2 in orbit, there is no waiting, Space Shuttle Olympic launches merely a few hours later with the second module of the station for SSM-83!
In orbit. Quebec City is visible next to the shuttle
Arrival at the CSS-2.
The second module is docked.
And Olympic dock to the CSS-2 for the first time!

I am already impatient to send the next module. I really missed station building!
However, tomorrow will see a Space Shuttle launch, but not the launch of a third module. For, by complete coincidence, tomorrow happen to be the first anniversary of the launch of the CSS, first of its kind! And I will visit it
