Orbiter Screenshot Thread

Mercury-Scout 1, which failed to reach orbit on November 1st, 1961 (due to connecting pitch sensor to yaw guidance and vice versa), now is able to fly again!

Fun with SIVb LOX dumps (Apollo 7, NASSP 8)

Working on getting this thing to work.

Added some Ground details in Launch Complex 39.

The ML casts shadows but the LC39 does not.
Can someone tell me why not?

Here is a Blender rendered image. Just for fun.

A tribute to one of my all-time favorites: the late, great Veronica Lake

Fired up IMFD over the past 2 days hoping it would be like riding a bike.
Finally got Mars Cargo Dragon to Mars after a couple tries \0/. Didn't make it to Olympus, but every landing you walk way from...

Can't really get the reflections right for some reason, but they look nice here.

Quarantine time is Orbiter time!
This time to Mercury, one of my last unvisited destinations, with an XR2 and an ICV.

Unfortunately the landing was completely at night, so there were not any spectacular views...

A flamey morning flight for the XR2, but it won't be exactly hot where we'll be going.

The D3D9Client is so awesome, most of the time it overshadows the vessel when I'm flying. I never get tired of the sunsets.
Best "addon" for Orbiter2016, in my opinion!

Moonship II

The Moonship II has started its landing burn. It has landing legs for rough terrain and a body-mounted solar array to extend its endurance. A centerline docking port is used to dock with supply vessels.

Another fictional Hubble mission.
