Hello...
i've been an Orbiter fan for quite a while now, playing it on and off for a few years....
some time ago i got myself a triple head setup, which basically consists of 3 monitors hooked up together through a little device from Matrox, which makes for an exceptionally wide screen that displays across them...
ever since i got it, i've been wanting to play Orbiter on all three screens, which requires it to run on a 3840x1024 resolution (15:4 aspect ratio) or similar (such as 3072x768)
the problem is that Orbiter doesn't like to run at such resolutions, and crashes back to desktop when it hits the loading screen...
Full-screen or windowed mode have the same effect... i'm only able to run it when i set the screen res to a more conventional 1240x1024 res or lower... any 5:4 or 4:3 res works, the problem is with the unconventional aspect ratio of the Triple Head
so i ask: is there a way to make Orbiter run at such resolutions?
if not, well, i leave this as a suggestion for a next version feature
Cheers
