I managed to dock with the ISS. It wasn't too difficult. The first time the ISS re-fueled me, then I tried again but when I docked, the fuel was the same.
Why didn't the ISS re-fuel me?
There is something to do to make the re-fuel? I remember it was automatic.

Moreover, I want to ask: for what is the radiator supposed to be used?
I put it to the sun but it seems that nothing changes.

Are you talking about the DG-IV?

Try reading the manual in Orbiter/Docs/DeltaGliderIV. There you'll find out all about operating this craft.

on the default DG the radiator doesn't do anything but in the DGIV And any of dougs ships its meant to radiate heat from the ship in other words keeping it cool ;)

OK, thanks. What about the other question, the missed re-fuel?
I mean the default DG.

Maybe you need to make manual refuel,in virtual cockpit lower panel?

This option seems not to exist in the default DG. Or maybe I don't find it... :sorry:

Does Space stations refuel ships? I though that feature was removed, I'm pretty sure older versions of orbiter had it though @w@

Mh, I was sure that the first time I docked the ISS had re-fueled me...
Maybe I'm wrong...

Heh,press F4 and go on Custom than on scenario editor, select ship, than on edit and on Propellant, there refuel.
It's cheat but effective. :p

In reality this would be possible? I mean, a space station that re-fuel a ship.
Because if yes, it's not cheating imo.

I know that when I am at the ISS in a DGIV, it can refuel me.

XR Series and DGIV deploy custom code for refueling.
Docking at a space station does not refuel you by default, landing does.
You can use FuelMFD if you do not want to use the scenario editor.

Mh, I tried, but ISS has zero percent of fuel. :)
So it's not possible to do any transfer.
In any case very good and useful MFD.

But who refueling ISS?
ISS or other space station is not a tanker...is't unlogical to fuel ship from ISS or other space station, other way around would be more logical.

Mh, I don't know anything about space and space travelling, all what I know comes from Orbiter playing.
So I don't know if re-fuelling from space-station is a "real thing" or not.

The stock Deltaglider is refueled automatically on landing pads, using a fuel MFD when docked, or anytime in the scenario editor. (Fuel MFD just transfers fuel from one ship to annother, mass and fuel is conserved in this case. Realistic).

The XR-Series and DGIV refuel using their own code and can always refuel when docked or landed (even if the ship they're docked to doesn't have any fuel).

Technically refueling anytime when the fuel wouldn't be there counts as cheating. ISS doesn't have the space to keep a reserves for you. (Refueling an XR-5 at ISS is just crazy!)

If I am refueling the DGIV, I usually try to do it as realistic as I can. A few times I have launched a Shuttle A, other times I have put fuel in orbit. Always I use FuelMFD so I don't get the option to have unlimited fuel as I would using the lower panel to get fuel from the dock. When planning long missions or ones that involve very quick missions to the Moon, I usually launch with the velcro rockets drop tanks. This almost doubles the fuel load of the craft and adds the pain of runway launch with a craft that weights 30+ tonnes.

If I had the skill, I would love to be able to build a giant refueling station to add to my ReFuel line, but my programming is not there yet. Would have a great ammount of mass, and many large solar panels and radiators to keep cryogenic fuels from evaporating. Even then, it is very unrealistic
