Since I have released my Reusable Crew Vehicle, I have resumed watching the series. I'm currently on episode 49 (please don't spoil me about later episodes)

The series takes place in 2025/2026 and beyond, but I wish that the series depicted JAXA as having their own manned spacecraft by that time. They still don't, and they're flying to the Moon on Orion instead of a manned HTV.

(Also, they could use multiple launches of the H-IIB/H-III to assemble an HTV + lunar transfer stage.)

I've decided to increase my watching rate, and now I'm on episode 81. It's still a great series with many emotional moments.

I finally watched all 99 episodes. It ended in March 2014 and is currently on a hiatus because it had caught up to the manga it was based on.

Hopefully, there will be new episodes soon, because there is still a lot of things that will happen with the story.

I consider Uchuu Kyoudai to be one of the greatest series of all time.

There is an asteroid, 13163 Koyamachuya, named after the creator of the manga.

I'd rather wait for the animated series to start again instead of subscribing to Crunchyroll and reading the rest of the manga, though.
