Problem Spacecraft3 n00b help

and spacecraft3 is supposed to be easy to work with...
I've been attempting to build an add-on for QUITE a while now, following a tutorial by ar81 about spacecraft3. Well, I want to see how big it is in Orbiter. Mesh Wizard gives me numbers, but those numbers don't mean anything to me right now. So, I create my .ini (following what the tutorial says), made my .scn file, and put all the files into their proper places. I fire up orbiter, and i get this error in orbiter.log:

>>> ERROR: No vessel class configuration file found for:
>>> ERROR: Spacecraft\spaceShip
>>> [C:\Source\Orbiter\Vessel.cpp / 248]
>>> TERMINATING <<<

So, i do the next logical thing: create a .cfg saying
ClassName = spaceShip

thats it.
I put it in Config, and the same error comes up. I'm becoming extremely frustrated. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem/where to put the stupid files?

Note: No textures have been applied, although I dont know if that will affect it at all

In Scenarios file you must have for spacecraft exp:

ship name:spacecraft\spacecraft3

Look at scenario and ship ini file with spacecraft3 add-ons for example.

I installed spacecraft3.dll in modules/plugin
I activated it with orbiter
I DOWNLOADED a ship from Orbit Hangar that I know needs spacecraft3. I tried it, and i STILL get the SAME Freaking error!

I'm about to give up for tonight and just go to bed.

spacecraft3.dll is a vessel module, so it belongs in the folder \modules, not \modules\plugin. You don't need to activate it in the LaunchPad.

Okay, i put it in the \modules folder...still same problem.

Could this be because I used Generic Mod Enabler to install most of my mods?
