Jolly good show, Elon. Congratulations.

PS: It looked like a very smooth ride. Can't wait to see the recordings from the capsule.

I was thinking the exact same thing except about the first stage.

I'll add the quindar tones to the suits in the "ugly list".

I really wonder why they still have them, there is no technical reason for them to exist.

Just saw Dragon go over, low to the SouthWest, beneath a beautiful crescent moon.
About magnitude +1. Gave the guys a wave as they went past :)

I missed the launch, I forgot about it. Well, this is a first. Whether or not it leads to further missions or a chance of sending a crew to the Moon soon, is another question. NASA still funds this program.

So it's really all touchscreens in there... Do they have any hard-wired redundancies for essential controls?

Just had a chance to watch Bob and Doug's show and tell. Funny that they mention the "tight quarters". Compared to other vehicles, it looked like they had a lot of volume to play around in. Nice clean design. Not cluttered at all.

So, they're calling it Endeavour. I'd prefer a different one (Enterprise would be a natural but then I'm an old trekkie with a second choice of Eagle-5), but Endeavour will do just fine.

Job well done, so far.

Does anyone know if it launched heads-up or heads-down? Or what the G-Profile and peak G was for a crewed mission?

...So, they're calling it Endeavour...

The only shuttle built in my life time. I like it. I wonder if it, assuming they reuse it, will keep that name or if it'll just be a call sign for this mission.

I believe it might be used as a cargo carrier, but then again ... being the first it may be retired.

Crew faced the direction of travel at launch, so they were lying on their back when on the pad - same as all previous craft.

Whoa. Black Sabbath Planet Caravan as wakeup music (We Sail Through Endless Skies).

That oughta freak out the more conservative element.

Kinda mellow for a wakeup call, though.

A surprise thought came to mind ... it should be easy to make a GUI for Crew Dragon as it's only screens, I wonder if they will release a public simulator or code they use. It could be a great simulator instead of using Orbiter.

Anyone flying along made a youtube video of the flight in their orbiter sim?
