Hello...I still have almost all the original files from the SpaceX Mission Package in my PC for reference in making Falcon 9 launch sounds
Though the original SCNs for Starlink L1, SpaceX CRS-19, JCSAT-18/Kacific-1 are missing

Nothing is modified in this attached .zip :)
thanks so much ! They work a charm. there may be a mission or two from the earlier years that don't work.. perhaps cos of dependencies ?

Thanks anyhow :) Also.. so., for instance, the Crew-1 mission. Once there is separation of first stage, which happens automatic.. the sep of second stage, is not automatic am. I correct ? I need to jettison it ? Can u please remind me in very brief how its best played. And I need to make use of the automated panels to sync with ISS and head for dock.

Correct, you need to jettison the Dragon frrom the 2nd stage.

I haven't tried the Crew-1 mission, but if it has the same profiile as the DM-2 mission then you need to use the Falcon9 2nd-stage to align with ISS orbit after separation from 1st-stage. I recommend AlignPlaneMFD and RendezvousMFD :)

Comprehensive update since Crew-1 now up: Sentinel-6 (requires BrianJ's addon), Starlink Mission 15, CRS-21 (Requires Don's new Cargo Dragon), and Sirius XM SXM-7 (requires VesselBuilder).

SpaceX graphic showing a boostback burn on the SXM7 mission flight profile - I'd bet against that!;)

I think SpaceX in general has ditched the boostback-to-ASDS approach anyhow. Either RTLS or EDL to ASDS.

Anywho, my Sirius XM SXM-7 mass doesn't appear to be correct as this mission went sub-GTO with a total dV of ~2200 m/s for an apogee of 19,515 km. Suggests a mass of about 7 tons. Source: Steven Pietrobon, NSF forums.

Yep, a payload of 7000kg is right on the edge of GTO capability for my Falcon9 add-on - I managed it by restricting 1st stage reserve fuel to 20000kg (I think you noted previously that SpaceX may be using less fuel for reentry burns now) and setting target orbit to 168km x 240km (as seen on video coverage) while keeping 1st stage apogee at 125km. JRTI at reported position of Long.-74.00934 Lat.28.34275. Ended up with ~2450m/s dV for final apogee of ~30000km.

Brian, have you worked out Starlink EDL missions with the actual ASDS locations? They must be leaving them very fuel hungry at MECO, because the actual ASDS locations are way further down range than I would've thought. I can land all Falcon 9 missions using the real ASDS locations, save Starlink.

I'll try and make some time to take another look at the Starlink missions - do you have the reported lat/long for the ASDS for any of them?

Starlink L16 OCISLY location: -75.88 W, 33.012N

SECO-1 orbit: 215 kilometers by ~365 kilometers.

I have an initial launch inclination of 51.2 degrees, later doglegged by the Falcon 9 to 53.00 degrees. I can only get Falcon 9 close to OCISLY with 15,000kg of prop remaining at MECO.

I'm confused by the Starlink mission naming convention! o_O Are we talking about Starlink L15 (16th batch) launched 25th Nov. 2020? Anyway, that's the launch I took as reference.

I took OCISLY location from the FCC application here:
....which puts OCISLY at Lng.-75.88 Lat.32.58

My solution:
Launch inclination: 51.25 (you can change inclination to 53.00 after 1st stage separation)
Target orbit PeA 216km, ApA 340km
1st Stage ApA 165km
1st Stage Fuel Reserve 16000kg (EDL-only)
OCISLY location: Lng.-75.880 Lat.32.580
FRV location: Lng. -75.026 Lat. 33.216

Just about sticks the 1st stage landing and not much left in the tanks at SECO!
The velocity and burn-time numbers match reasonably well to the video coverage.
My scenario (in the "Starlink" subfolder) attached below. Launch timer is already enabled for 02:13:00 UTC.
Cheers,
Brian

Yeah, I should know too, I was at that launch in person lol. Yes, Starlink L15 (16th batch) Thanks, Brian! This is a huge help, now I can use the real ASDS locations for Starlink.

I do wonder why they dogleg these missions, considering the dV penalties for an already fuel-starved Falcon 9 at SECO.

My guess if for safety ranging. I could be wrong. Is there a way to get the dogleg launch incorporated with the Dragon launches also ?

You just have to do it the same way - after 1st stage separation, open up the Falcon9 control panel [K] and input new inclination.

Comprehensive 2020 update now up! ASDS locations for all Starlink missions now exact.

Note: Starlink launch inclination is initially ~51.2, so a dogleg is required to put Starlink onto a 53.00 inclination orbit. SpaceX Crew Dragon missions also appear to dogleg slightly.

Where is the 2020 update package in this thread? Is it in the first page with the description?

There's so many launches that I think I'm going to shift to monthly releases.

So, yes, Turksat-5A will be included in that.
