Question Stealing a spacesuit?

Space tourist Nik Halik (backup to Richard Garriott on Soyuz TMA-13) said on his Facebook page: "Hard to believe that my Space Suit [Sokol pressure suit] was stolen in Kazakhstan in 2008 and resurfaced later in New York in early 2010...about to be sold off at an exclusive Auction House..." Does that sort of thing usually happen to Sokol suits? :huh:

Anyway, besides of Nik's remark, there's no ground to say that the thing was stolen (when? by whom? from whom?) and we have much more questions than answers here.
